When you move your domain from your domain provider to us, it will be automatically renewed for one additional year with the cost of transfer. The transfer varies based on the domain extension cost. For example; .com, .net, and .org will cost $9.99/yearly.
There are 4 things you need to double-check before we start with your domain transfer:
1- The domain is older than 60 days otherwise it wont transfer per ICANN regulation.
2- You will need the EPP Code to initialize the domain transfer
3- The domain has to be unlocked otherwise it will stall
4- The domain privacy protection has to be disabled
If all 4 conditions are met, you can start the transfer process. You will receive a confirmation email from your old registrant to confirm the transfer. Once you confirm the process by clicking on the confirmation link, within the confirmation email, the domain transfer process will begin. Domain transfer takes between 3-7 days to complete depends on how fast your old registrant will approve it and we normally process it same day upon approval receipt.
